The fishing has been interesting this week. The west winds which are common this time of year combined with some less than clear water due to all the rain we had last weekend, made fishing fun. The trolling fishing was a bit slow right after the rains, but by mid week, the King Mackerel and Spanish Mackerel bite was back on again. The Red Snapper have seen a lot of pressure close to shore (within 12 miles) and we found ourselves having to reach out and go a little further in order to catch bigger fish. Overall, the deep sea fishing has been good and our customers really appreciate us telling them exactly what to expect during their fishing charter in Orange Beach.
