The spanish mackerel bite is red hot in Orange Beach, Alabama. Today’s trolling fishing trip was one to be remembered. We were catching two and three Spanish Mackerel at a time using our magic lures. The wind was breezy but the almost 80 degree temperatures were extremely comfortable. We trolled back and forth from Perdido Pass Jetty’s all the way to the Flora Bama line. Back and forth in 18 to 23 feet of water produced some really nice spanish. Our largest fish was just over 5 pounds.
