Ben came all the way from Branson, Mo., to enjoy some Amberjack fishing on the Alabama Gulf Coast. The weather was right and the seas were rolling gently on today’s deep sea fishing charter. We left the Orange Beach Marina at 7 am in order to not be rushed in getting offshore to where the big boys live. We enjoyed our ride and conversations as cruised along. The bite was amazing today. We bottom fished today and caught Amberjack, King Mackerel, Bonita and several Red Snappers. The Amberjack season will be closed from June 1 until July 31st this year in order to allow the fish stocks to rebuild. The good thing is that we promote catch and release and we will take you to catch them, you just won’t be able to keep them this summer.
