Fishing This Spring Break on the Alabama Gulf Coast
Spring break 2012 is officially underway on the Alabama Gulf Coast. The families are here and there are more on the way to the beautiful beaches. The winds are playing havoc on us getting offshore this morning, but the Spanish Mackerel are starting to show up. Spring Breakers are smiling and 72 degrees is just right after a long winter fishing season. We are trolling on a 4 hour charter and fishing with small clark spoons. We expect the fishing to continue to get better during the month of March and into April. There have been three Cobia fish spotted so far in the past week but none have been landed. The early spring fishing season and the warm water is causing the migration to begin about two weeks earlier than normal. One thing for sure, deep sea fishing in 2012 is looking good. Be sure to come along with us or the http://fishingorangebeach.com charter fishing cooperative for all of your inshore fishing, deep sea fishing and tuna fishing charters.
