Our family and corporate customers have a choice. Our trips are 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 hour charters fishing for Red Snapper, Triggerfish, Grouper, Amberjack, King Mackerel and Spanish. We are now offering inshore charters through our strategic partnership as well as Babysitting services for our customers. Our conservation mission is to promote voluntary restraint. We use circle hooks because they minimize the fish swallowing the hooks. We also use a large net for those we know we want to release. We measure our success by the smiles on your faces, not by the pounds in a cart. Please let us know before departure how many fish you would like to keep that day. It's ok and we want you to keep all you legally catch. We simply ask you if you want to keep or release them! We value what GOD has given us and we are stewards of the sea. We want our kids and grandchildren get to enjoy light tackle fishing for Red Snapper just as we have for years to come.

Our babysitting service for our customers offers convenience and allows moms to go fishing without worrying about the kids.

Our customers are families, friends and small groups that come to Gulf Shores for a fishing vaction. They want to have fun, feel good, catch fish and relax while on vacation in Orange Beach and Gulf Shores. Orange Beach Family Bottom Fishing
Our most popular Orange Beach family and corporate fishing trips we offer are up to 6 hours. We troll out to the artificial reefs and then let everyone hold a pole and drop a bait down below the charter boat. Everyone fishes at the same time. The most common fish is the Red Snapper and they fight real hard. You will have a blast deep sea fishing with our light tackle. The tackle is light and does not wear our customers out. The fish might wear you out, but the Orange Beach Light Tackle Fishing allows you to feel the fight. Those Red Snappers fight hard. You will be amazed at how hard they pull. Can you imagine laughing the whole time your reeling one in? Can you imagine catching a fish almost everytime you drop your line? During June, July, August and September, we are offering two trips daily departing at 6:30 and 1:30pm. If 6 hours is too much time for you, let us know, if you want to come back in early. We have a minimum fee for the six hour trip. It's your decision. The fee guarantees you up to six hours.

Orange Beach Charter Boat Distraction
Distraction Charter Boat is a 41' custom built Hatteras. It offers casual elegance and a clean sitting and sleeping area. It has a kitchen and a modern bathroom. It has a climate controlled sitting area where you can escape the action and cool down. You will not miss a thing by going inside. We have two large doors that offer a birdseye view of the back deck where all the action is taking place. Guest are welcome upstairs in the wheelhouse. Kids can even help drive the boat.

Rice and Beans Ministries in Costa Rica
We are always fishing for men and serving families. We have a passion for Serving God and giving back to those who are less fortunate. We are now offering our customers the opportunity to help those in need. My friend and customer Fred Curry of Hattiesburg, Ms. introduced me to his ministry. For over 12 years, Fred has been devoting his time to help those who are poor and less fortunate in the Jungles of Costa Rica. It is non-denominational in nature and simply raises money to build churches, youth camps and providing food to the needy. Currently the ministry is looking for tax deductible donations and support teams of volunteers that can go to Costa Rica for a week or two at a time. The ministry is named Rice and Beans Ministries. Be sure to let me know if you would like to donate l money to support such a worth while minstry. I personally am planning on a couple of trips this fall to help with this ministry. You may either give the check to me made payable to rice and beans ministries.
